This #SoberSeptember doesn’t have to be tricky, so treat yourself to this Hoppy Refresher mocktail recipe. This raspberry-lemon wonder whipped up by @boozykooties has two measly grams of carbs if you care about that sort of thing…We’re mostly just taking it as our sign to have one every single day this week. Not doing Sober September? A little birdy told us our #DayTimeIPA or #DisorderlyTeaHouse would be right at home in this recipe in place of the Hoppy Refresher.

Ingredients:

5 raspberries, muddled
2 oz sugar free lemonade
4 oz Hoppy Refresher Hop Water

Beer 101: Fresh Hops

The unspoken rule of fresh hopped beers is they are to be added to the brew within 24 hours of being picked from the field, or as I like to say the “dirt-to-wort” time.  As you may have guessed the fresher the better so being a brewer in Seattle I am a mere couple hours drive from the Yakima Valley where an overwhelming majority of the US hop supply is grown and is one of the largest hop growing regions in the world.
