Brewer – Seattle 3.25 years I got tipped off about the Seattle taproom opening by my ol’ pal Chef Bob who opened the Chicago taproom, I applied to the initial open interview call and as we weren’t ready to hire a brewer at the time I was the original sound engineer for the bands playing the taproom. Once ready to hire a brewer I was first on the list, and began brewing here after a phone interview with Jeremy. (Fun fact: Chef Bob used to be Tony Magee’s pot hookup when he flew into Chicago, and I was Chef Bob’s source!).

What are a few words you live (or brew) by? I live by the golden ale rule – drink others and you would like to be drank.

If you could make an animal out of 3 animals, which would you use and what would it be called? 1 part Scooby Doo, 1 part Roger Rabbit, and 1 part Albatross. I’d be a seafaring cartoon sailboat captain named “Skipper Doo”.
