We’ve always been dedicated to turning beer into money for nonprofits locally and across the country, so during National Volunteer Month in April we turned our employees loose on local nonprofits to help them in their missions in Petaluma, Chicago, Los Angeles, Austin, Portland and beyond.Read story
LAGUNITAS COMMUNITY GIVING PROGRAM
Since day one Lagunitas has been committed to helping our local community by turning beer into money for the cause, and now with a new addition to our Community Giving Program we can support our employees and help nonprofits in a more hands-on way.
The Lagunitas LaguLove Community Giving Program gives our employees the opportunity to volunteer at local area nonprofits during the work week. It’s an exciting new way for us to give back to those that have supported us over the years and share the LaguLove with our local community!
In January and February, we were able to lend a hand in organizing donations at the Redwood Empire Food Bank (Photo above), whose purpose is to provide adequate nutrition assistance to anyone in need of help. In March, we sent folks to Social Advocates for Youth, a group dedicated to creating a safe and caring community for children, youth, and families, where we helped in setting up their annual gala. This April, some dedicated employees helped clean and care for goats and other orphaned, abused, and neglected farm animals at Goatlandia.
We’re really excited about this program’s potential to impact our friends and neighbors. And we look forward to sharing the LaguLove with even more local nonprofits as the program continues to grow.
