DayTime

A Crisp Session Beer Worthy of its Name

98 Cals. 3 Carbs. Light in the things that weigh you down, yet crisp & hop-forward. So it’s more than just the 4% Alc. by Vol. that keeps DayTime sessionable, it’s the flavor. Perfect for when there’s still work to do, or work to avoid.

Style

Where most beer styles are defined by flavor, Sessions are about the combo of drinkability & low-alcohol content (ABV). At only 98 Cals, 3 Carbs & 4% ABV, DayTime IPA represents everything we know about making hop-forward beer, expressed in a sotto voice. A sessionable session beer that doesnt skimp on flavor.

DayTime IPA is a gentle canvas of malts and fluff-ifying oats splashed with a cannonball of hops—lots of Centennial and Citra hops. Like lupulin sunrays shining down on puffy little malt clouds!

Beverage Specs

ABV

4%

Beer math on ABV is pretty straightforward. The higher the ABV, the more alcohol in the beer. See, no rocket science necessary.300

IBU

42.0

Generally speaking, a high IBU beer will have a more bitter taste than a lower IBU beer.

OG

1.044

The OG measures solids in the wort before fermentation to consistently arrive at the same alcohol conetent of a beer. Pretty neat, huh?

Herbal/Eucalyptus

DayTime is inspired by the native scents and aromas of the Northern California coast. It’s like a coastal picnic in a eucalyptus grove everytime you pop open a can!

Tropical

DayTime touches on more of the deeply tropical flavors instead of the bright ones, like passionfruit and over-ripe melon.

Citrus

The background citrus notes (orange and grapefruit) help meld the eucalyptus and tropical flavors together for a smooth sip

Beer 101: Low Carb IPA

We’ve all had those days; for whatever reason, you start imbibing early. You could start with the IPA you knock back one or two of after work, but you know after an hour or two of that you aren’t going to be feeling so great.
